Scott Sturgis, also known as Converter, is a Detroit-based electronic music producer and DJ. He has been active in the underground music scene since the early 1990s, releasing numerous albums and EPs on various labels such as Ant-Zen, Tympanik Audio, and Hands Productions. Sturgis is known for his aggressive and industrial-influenced sound, often incorporating elements of noise, techno, and ambient music into his compositions.
